Settle — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 November 2026

Settle is a single-player strategy game. This policy explains what information the game sends, why, and what you can do about it.

In short

What is sent, if you agree

Game reports, when a game ends (won, lost, surrendered, or left for a new one):

Usage events: the game's first launch, each play session (how long it lasted and how many turns were played), and each game started and ended (difficulty, pace, map, outcome).

Each report and event carries the game's version, the platform (for example “android”) and a random identifier created by the game the first time it runs. It is not linked to you, your account or your device, and it changes if you reinstall the game or clear its data.

Why

Only to understand how the game is played and to improve its balance and design. The information is not sold, shared, or used for advertising or profiling.

Where it goes, and for how long

The information is stored with Supabase, the hosting service the game uses. The game itself can only add information: it can't read, change or delete what has been sent. Only the developer has access to it. It is kept for as long as it is useful for improving the game, and then deleted.

If there is no connection, what is to be sent waits on your device and is sent later; it is given up on after 60 days.

Your choices

Information kept on your device

Your saved game, your settings and the reports of your last games are kept on your device only, so you can pick up where you left off and look back at past games. Uninstalling the game removes them.

Permissions

The game asks for internet access only to send the statistics described here.

Children

The game does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
